A layout that is easy to follow
Clear parking bays help drivers see where to park and keep the circulation route readable. Imperial Linemarking marks new layouts and refreshes existing car parks, with the scope and access arrangements agreed before work begins.
For a re-mark, we check the existing lines rather than simply following every old edge. Chalk set-out helps keep bay ends aligned and rows straight. Where the layout is changing, we discuss redundant markings and any need for removal first.

We confirm the required layout and relevant standards with you. A repaint does not, by itself, certify that an existing car park layout complies.
Preparing for the work
We need access to a clean, dry surface with vehicles moved from the areas being painted. Tell us about oil contamination, loose paint, concrete sealers, recent resurfacing or repairs so preparation can be included in the quote where needed.
For new concrete, allow at least 28 days before marking, subject to the coating manufacturer’s requirements and the surface condition. Curing compounds, moisture and sealers may require additional assessment or preparation.
After-hours or staged work can be arranged around site access. Reopening time depends on the product, surface and weather; we confirm it for your job.
What affects the price?
The main factors are the number and length of lines, symbols and lettering, how much measuring is required, preparation or removal, and the hours when the site is available. Send the suburb, approximate bay count and photos for an initial discussion. We confirm the scope and price in writing.

Can you repaint over existing lines?
Often, if the coating is sound and the layout remains suitable. Loose paint, contamination or changes to the layout may require preparation or removal first.
Can the car park stay open?
Some sites can be marked in sections. Others are better booked outside trading hours. We agree vehicle access and work areas with the site contact before starting.
Do you paint wheel stops and lettering too?
Yes. These can be included with the bay marking. Tell us what needs repainting so it is included in the quote.
