Line marking services

Car parks, warehouse floors, stencils, wheel stops, signage, line removal and private roads — priced per job, quoted on site, and marked to the relevant Australian Standard. Serving Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich and Logan.

Asphalt & concrete · retail, strata, medical, schools

Car park line marking

The bulk of the work. Shopping centre and retail car parks, strata and body corporate car parks, medical centres, schools, clubs, service stations and office buildings.

  • New set-outs. Measured from the kerb line up, with bay and aisle dimensions taken from AS/NZS 2890.1 and adjusted for columns, ramps, bin stores and the vehicles that use the site. You approve the chalk layout before any paint goes down.
  • Re-marking. Faded lines brought back over the existing set-out. Fastest and cheapest option when the layout still works.
  • Accessible bays. Bay and shared-area dimensions, the international symbol of access, bollards and signage to AS/NZS 2890.6 — the part of a car park most likely to be audited.
  • Everything else in the bay. Directional arrows, chevron hatching, no-parking zones, loading zones, kerb painting, wheel stops and speed hump marking.

Sealed concrete · distribution, manufacturing, cold store

Warehouse & factory line marking

Concrete floors are a different job to asphalt. Forklift tyres scrub paint off within months if the wrong product is used, so warehouse work is quoted on the right coating for the traffic.

  • Pedestrian walkways. Separated walking routes to and from doors, amenities and muster points, in high-visibility green, yellow or white.
  • Forklift and traffic lanes. Directional lanes, give-way points and blind corner marking that keeps people and plant apart.
  • Racking and storage. Pallet bay outlines, aisle marking, keep-clear zones in front of switchboards, hydrants and exits.
  • Hazard zones. Diagonal hazard hatching, dangerous goods areas, battery charging bays and exclusion zones for audits and inductions.

Cut stencil · symbols, numbering, wording

Stencils & pavement symbols

Anything that needs to be readable from a moving car, sprayed through a cut stencil so the edges stay crisp instead of bleeding.

  • Accessible parking symbols, EV charging bays and parents-with-prams bays.
  • Bay numbering, reserved and visitor bays, tenancy and unit numbers.
  • LOADING ZONE, NO STANDING, KEEP CLEAR, STOP and give-way bars.
  • Speed limit roundels, directional arrows and site-specific wording.
  • Colour-coded bay treatments — EV, click-and-collect, pram and staff bays.

Supply & install · rubber, recycled plastic, concrete

Wheel stops

Supplied, set out and fixed down as part of the marking job, so the bays and the wheel stops line up the first time instead of one contractor working around another.

  • Supply and install. Rubber, recycled plastic and precast concrete wheel stops in standard and heavy-duty profiles, fixed to asphalt or concrete with the right anchor for the surface.
  • Set out with the bays. Positioned off the marked bay so vehicle overhang stays clear of footpaths, landscaping, walls and services — the reason most wheel stops end up in the wrong place is that they were installed before the bays were set out.
  • Replacements. Cracked, loose or missing stops swapped out, old anchors removed and holes made good.
  • Accessible bays. Wheel stops positioned to suit the bay and shared area to AS/NZS 2890.6, where they are needed at all.
  • Reflective and painted finishes. High-visibility yellow or white stops, and repainting of existing stops that have faded out.

Car parks & private estates · install, replace, relocate

Sign installation & replacement

Faded, bent, graffitied and missing signs replaced across car parks, strata complexes and private estates — and new signs installed where the marking on the ground needs backing up with a sign that can be enforced.

  • Parking control signs. Time-limited parking, permit and resident parking, visitor bays, no standing, no parking and loading zone signs for privately managed car parks.
  • Accessible bay signage. Symbol of access signs, posts and bollards placed to suit the bay and shared area under AS/NZS 2890.6 — the item most often missing when a site gets audited.
  • Estate and internal roadways. Speed limit, give-way, stop, one-way, no-entry and directional signs on private roads, plus way-finding and building or block identification.
  • Replacements and relocations. New face on an existing post where the post is sound, full post-and-footing replacement where it is not, and relocation when a layout changes.
  • Site sign audits. A walk-through listing every sign that is faded, non-compliant, obscured by landscaping or missing entirely, quoted line by line so you can stage the work.

Grinding & blackout · layout changes

Line removal & re-marking

When a layout changes, the old lines have to go. Two sets of lines in one car park is a liability, not a saving.

  • Grinding. Mechanical removal for asphalt and concrete where the old line needs to be gone completely.
  • Blackout. Redundant lines covered in a matched bitumen-tone coating — quick, cost-effective, and the usual choice for minor layout changes.
  • Full re-set-out. Removal, re-measure and re-mark in one visit so the site is only closed once.
  • Refresh. Faded lines re-coated before they disappear entirely, which is always cheaper than starting again.

Private assets · estates, industrial parks, schools

Private roads & estates

Estate roads, industrial park roadways, school grounds and internal service roads — private assets that still need to look and behave like a public road.

  • Centre lines, edge lines, separation lines and turn lanes.
  • Stop bars, give-way triangles and intersection marking.
  • Speed hump and threshold marking, chevrons and traffic islands.
  • School zone marking, bus zones and crossings on private grounds.
  • Traffic control plans and appropriately staged works where a road has to stay open.

Straight answers

Wheel stops, signage & coverage

Do you supply wheel stops, or only install them?

Both. Wheel stops are supplied in rubber, recycled plastic or precast concrete and installed as part of the marking job, so the bays get set out first and the stops land in the right place. If you have already bought your own, they can be installed on their own.

What are wheel stops fixed down with?

Asphalt takes a driven spike or masonry anchor; concrete gets a chemical anchor or a mechanical fixing sized to the slab. Old anchors are pulled out and the holes made good when a damaged stop is replaced, so you are not left with a trip hazard where the last one was.

Can you replace signs in a private car park or estate?

Yes. Parking control, no standing, accessible bay, speed limit and directional signs are all replaced across privately managed car parks, strata complexes and estate roads. Where the post is sound only the face is swapped; where it is bent or rusted the post and footing go in fresh.

Do parking signs in a private car park need to comply with anything?

If you want a parking condition to be enforceable, the sign has to be clear, correctly worded and visible from the bay — and accessible bay signage is covered by AS/NZS 2890.6. A sign audit is quoted line by line so you can see what is non-compliant before you commit to replacing anything.

How far do you travel for a job?

Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, Redland Bay and Moreton Bay are covered daily. The Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba are regular runs, with travel built into the fixed price rather than added afterwards.

No hourly rates, no vague scope

A quote from Imperial lists the exact line lengths, symbols and stencils being marked, the product being used, and how the site will be staged so you know how long you lose access for. If something on your site will not comply once it is marked, that goes in the quote too.
